Chocolate Cravings

11 Jan

I am having chocolatey day dreams. Chocolate donuts, chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate…just visions of a large chocolate sea. Must be the cold winter weather driving these mid-afternoon cravings. Since I refuse to raid the vending machine at work, I’ll use this as a way to channel my chocolate energy. Here are some of my favorite places in Boston to enjoy chocolate. If this makes you hungry, or makes you run out and eat chocolate, I apologize!

The Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel – long tables of chocolate goodiness in an elegant setting

Chocolate Mousse at The Butcher Shop – so smooth and creamy

Fudge cake at Finale – a traditional treat that’s oh so yummy

Hot Chocolate at L.A. Burdick– more like traditional drinking chocolate than your run of the mill powder drink

Mini chocolate covered Oreos at the South End Formaggio – the chocolate covering is so thick on these bite-size treats

Chocolate chunk brownies at Godiva – these are so rich and decadent

Dark chocolate bite-sized cupcakes at Sweet – just enough chocolate and icing to quench your craving

Chocolate turtles from Phillips Candy House – any chocolate and nut combination you can imagine!

Whoopie Pies at Flour Bakery – make you want to yell “whoopie”

Truffles from Teuscher Boston – so many choices and they package them up so nicely too…

And if you can’t get enough, try out a class or tour given by Boston Chocolate Tours.

YUM!

Wink,

Style Girl
