Store of the Week: Twelve Chairs

21 Jan

I’m always happy to hear of new ventures.  I wish I had the gusto to do something entrepreneurial but I guess I’ll leave that to the entrepreneurs. Enter Miggy Mason and Roisin Giese – proud co-founders and creative directors of Twelve Chairs. This shop opened last fall in a fab space in Fort Point Channel. Acting as both a retail store front and an interior design studio, Twelve Chairs carries pretty, unique things including funky prints, high-end stationery, beautiful furniture, perfect pottery and much more. What are some of my favorite products at the moment? Here’s a quick list…

Beekman soaps – $8 – smell sooo good

in2Green eco blankets – $130 – soft, great design and machine washable

Jonathan’s wild cherry wooden spoons – $35 – such a pretty wood tone

Cool tee towels and napkins – $15-$50 – unique designs that are très français

Magento ceramic mini-creamers – $12 – these would be perfect alongside mini S&P shakers

Edible: A Celebration of local food cookbook – $30 – great cookbook that focuses on fresh fare and eco-friendly agriculture

The BEST dog photography book – $50 – if you love dogs, you’ll fall in love with this book

If you’re looking for a  gift, personal treasure or some design inspiration, pop over to Twelve Chairs. It is worth a visit! Located at 319 A St in Fort Point Channel (South Boston).
