The Pink List

24 May

Attention all Boston mommies and Boston mommies-to-be – there is a new list in town and you should really be on it. It’s called The Pink List. Started earlier this year by Alexandra Bier Abramowitz and Kate Caulfield, The Pink List is a members-only club for stylish Boston mammas that offers a load of member discounts on shops around the Boston area. When I first heard of this I was a bit skeptical since there are just so many discount sites now (Groupon, Social Living, Rue La La, etc.) that you can subscribe to for free but The Pink List is a bit different. They don’t focus on daily deals, they focus on providing a community of shops and services that can help moms get great deals on stuff for kiddes and themselves at an everyday discount.

For a $75 annual registration fee you can get access to discounts at a growing list of shops – and it really is growing! As of late, The Pink List is adding 2-3 partners a week. They are also hosting a range of events that offer opportunities for shopping and networking with other mommies. What stores are taking part in The Pink List? Visit their site for a full listing but here’s a sampling:

Kiwi Baby – 20% off clothing and shoes
Mulberry Road – 20% off merchandise
Flat of the Hill – 20% off merchandise
Twig – 20% of all cut flowers
Mint Julep – 10% off merchandise
Rugg Road Paper Company – 10% off merchandise
French Dressing – 20% off merchandise
Red Wagon – 10% off clothing and shoes

And the list goes on!

If you haven’t yet had a chance to check this out, you should. I just signed up!

It’s almost paid for itself already! I saved $40 at Mulberry Road this week because I’m a member!
